CONSTITUTION:Immediately before the end of the reducing blowing-out operation of the blast furnace 8, a blow-off valve 1 is entirely opened to enable external air to be sucked and introduced. Thereafter, after banking of the furnace, from the blow off valve 1 through a blast piping such as a main blast pipe 2 and a branch pipe 4, a natural draught into the furnace 8 is performed. Thus, even immediately after the banking, required amount of oxygen is ensured, carbon monoxide or hydrogen is not detected but an adequate natural combustion in furnace can be carried out. Therefore, a safety banking of furnace having no risk such as the blowing-out of contents of the blast furnace or the gas explosion is performed.
