Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain working precision at discharge working in liquid like water by a method wherein a given discharge working gap is maintained between an electrode and a work as changing a relative position of the electrode with the work, and an electric corrosion not opposite is positively suppressed and controlled. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 1 and a work 2 are arranged opposite to each other in a processing tank 10 in which water works as a processing liquid 3. The electrode 1 is mounted on a Z shaft driving head 11 driven by a Z shaft driving motor 9, and the Z shaft is driven by combination of an interpole gap servo and a position servo in a discharge working. Next, from subjecting the electrode 1 and the work 2 to a relative displacing movement, gaps of both the two are equal, and the work 2 is formed in the same shape as the electrode. The shape is not spoiled particularly at the angle. Moreover, the distance being taken more than a threshold gap, an unnecessary discharge will not arise and working is obtainable at high precision.
