Abstract
PURPOSE:To accelerate elimination of machining dust to shorten machining time by widening the space between the electrode and the work by using the electrode sufficiently finer than the fine cavity to be machined and also by moving the electrode along the shape of the fine cavity. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted by the slender electrode bar 1, the guide the electrode 1, the eccentric driving device 3 to move the electrode 1, and others. Then, the work 16 is set in the processing vessel 17, and the electrode 1 guided by the guide 2 and the eccentric guide 8 is driven in servo motion toward the work 16 by the vertical driving device 10 while it is given a small radius rotation by the device 3. With such rotating motion of the eccentric movement given to the electrode 1, the space between the electrode 1 and the work 16 can be substantially widened, and the machining dust can be cleared easily, and machining time can be shortened.
