Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the apparatus useful for maintenance of the plant, by supervising the mean value of a plant signal, in addition to the ordinary noise analytic method, and deciding it as an abnormal state that the mean value has been turned aside from the prescribed reference value, in the atomic power plant. CONSTITUTION:Each process signal S is input to the amplifier 1 through the input device I, and an output of the amplifier is input the mean value calculating circuit 2 and also the frequency spectrum analyzer 3. And the respective outputs are input to the comparators 4 and 5, in which they are compared with the reference values R1, R2 decided by the device I, and each output is sent to the output circuit 6. This reference value R1 is a mean value mu+ or -3sigma (sigma is standard deviation) of each process signal, and the reference value R2 shows the frequency spectrum of a noise component of each process signal in case when the plant is normal. In this way, the apparatus can be made useful for maintenance of the plant by deciding it as an abnormal state that the mean value has been turned aside from the prescribed reference value.
