Abstract
PURPOSE:To stop a rotary machine through speed reduction in a short time using a simple device by forming a closed circuit of a plurality of motors cut off from power supply and consuming rotational energy as electric loss such as copper loss using the circulating current at the residual voltage of the motors. CONSTITUTION:A driving power supply circuit 103 converting the input from a commercial power source 101 into high-frequency power supplies output to driving motors 105 via a main switch 104 and a switch 105. When a switch 102 is opened with the motors 106 operated after closing switches 102, 104 and 105, a closed circuit is formed including the main switch 104 and the switch 105 between a driving power supply circuit 103 and the motors 106. Circulating current flows at the residual voltage of the motors 106 in the closed circuit and electric loss such as copper loss is generated in the driving motors 106 by the impedance of the closed circuit so that the driving motors 106 are reduced in speed.
