Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothly perform dripping, impregnation and drying without man power by transferring solenoid coils while rotating the coils wherein the transfer is stopped directly below a nozzle for a fixed period and varnish is dripped and impregnates into the solenoid coils. CONSTITUTION:Coils 1 are set on a chain 3 for coil transfer and the chain 3 transfers the coils 1 which have no tap thereon. The coils 1 are successively transferred and stopped directly below a nozzle 2 for a fixed period to receive varnish drips. After finishing the dripping, the coils 1 are again transferred, which simultaneously rotate with the start of the drip by rotating a chain 4 by a motor 5. The coils 1 receive the drip while rotating and are transferred while rotating by themselves after finishing the dripping. Therefore, the varnish completely and equally impregnates into the whole part of the coils 1 during transfer. In this way, insulation treatment for the coils 1 is automated and this method will be useful for the improvement of productivity and the uniformity of quality and the like.
