Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a uniform metal coat on the inside of a tube by putting a coat metal coil into the tube to closely contacting the coil to the tube inside by means of the elasticity followed by heating under a reducing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Coil 4 made of coat metal such as copper is shrinkingly wound round jig 5 or the like and put into tube 1 made of steel or the like. Jig 5 is detached, and coil 4 is closely contacted to the inside of tube 1 by means of the elasticity in the circumferential direction. Tube 1 with coil 4 set is passed through electric furnace 6 or the like of a reducing atmosphere to heat tube 1 to a temp. above the m.p. of coil 4. Since all of the winding of coil 4 is in close contact to the tube 1 inside, coil 4 is meltdiffused in a uniform distribution contact state, forming an even metal coat of a uniform thickness on the tube 1 inside.
