PURPOSE:To keep an operating point of a quartz oscillation circuit, even if the voltage of a cell is in variation, by driving the quartz oscillation circuit with a constant current circuit of optimum design. CONSTITUTION:The voltage at the connection point between a resistor 10 and an MOSFET 11 is almost at a constant voltage to the voltage variance of a cell 8, since the voltage-current characteristics of the MOSFET 11 are shown as a quadratic equation. The gate voltage at an MOSFET 9 is also at a constant voltage against the voltaage variation of the cell 8, and when an FET 9 operates at a saturation area (pentode area), the current flowing to the FET 9 is constant. Accordingly, even if the voltage of the cell decreases near 1.0V, the operating point of MOSFETs 1 and 2 is unchanged for stable operation.
