PURPOSE:To reduce the dielectric constant of an oxide piezo-electric material to less than 200, and set the temperature coefficient of the fundamental wave of the resonance frequency thereof within + or -20ppm by employing the material of special composition. CONSTITUTION:An oxide piezo-electric material contains a composition of (Pb1-a Caa)[(Co1/2W1/2)xTi1-x]O3, where a=0.10-0.15, x=0.05-0.10, and as sub- component 0.05-1.0% by weight of at least one of MnO, NiO and Fe3O3. Such oxide piezo-electric material may be generally easily produced by a powder metallurgical process.
