Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a three layer resin container with a uniform wall thickness by a method wherein a resin for an outer skin is firstly injected into a metal mold cavity and, subsequently, a resin for an inner core is injected, thereafter a resin for an outer skin is injected again to obtain a primary molded product and, succeedingly, said molded product is subjected to the secondary molding. CONSTITUTION:Different resins 11, 12 are melted respectively in two injection cylinders 7, 8. The resin 12 for the outer skin is firstly injected into a metal mold cavity 4 in a small amount and, subsequently, the resin 11 for the inner core is injected into the interior of the resin 12 for an outer skin from the cylinder 7 before a central portion of the injected resin 12 is cooled and solidified. Next, before the resin 11 for the inner core in the vicinity of a gate is cooled and solidified, the resin 12 for the outer skin is injected again to fully fill the interior of the metal mold cavity and, after cooling, the primary molded product 13 is obtained. This primary molded product 13 is placed in a female mold 18 so as to position a gate part to the inner side of a container and all parts except a lip part are heated to be subjected to press molding or vacuum molding.
