Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent loss of steam, when the steam is introduced into a heating container for steaming or the like, by decreasing the pressure of the steam through a reducing valve and thereafter controlling a thermostatic valve through the temperature in the container so that a required amount of the steam can be introduced into the container.
CONSTITUTION: The pressure of the steam is reduced to approximately 0.5W1kg through the reducing valve 5, and the temperature in the container 1 is detected by a thermosensitive means 2 to control the operation of the thermostatic valve 4, so that a required amount of steam is proportionally introduced into the container 1. Thus, when a product is steamed, the latent heat effect is quite increased, the productivity is improved, and the reduction of energy loss is effected. In the liquid heating, the steam bubbles are subdivided, and therefore the condensation effect is improved. As the flow rate control is made by the temperature detection in the container, it becomes precise and therefore wasteful consumption of the steam can be prevented.
