Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve S/N by inserting a high-pass filter, which reduces noise, between a lock-in amplifier and an infrared-ray temperature sensor which detects the difference between the temperature of an object and the temperature of atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:For example, in an electronic range, infrared rays emitted from the cooking material in oven 1 pass through hole 100 and chopper 2 and are reflected by mirror 3 and are condensed onto infrared-ray sensor 5 by concave mirror 4. The output of the infrared-ray sensor passes through high-pass filter 6 which reduces a low-frequency noise to a degree where this noise can be ignored for the temperature signal, and this output is amplified by the lock-in amplifier consisting of high- gain amplifier 7, impedance converter 8, synchronous rectifying circuit 9, and low- pass filter 10, and the atmosphere temperature is corrected in temperature correcting circuit 11 to output an actual temperature to output terminal 12. Consequently, S/N can be improved considerably.
