PURPOSE:To reduce a noise, by varying a high-frequency characteristic of a demoldulation output in accordance with a receiving input level. CONSTITUTION:An output of an AGC detecting circuit 11 which is varied in accordance with an input level of a receiver controls the gain of an intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 1, simultaneously is applied to a comparator 8, and its output controls a variable type low-pass filter 7. In case when a receiving input level is low, an output of the comparator 8 is operated so as to drop a high-frequency characteristic of the variable low-pass filter 7, narrows an equivalent noise band width, reduces a higher harmonic and a noise in an output of a low-frequency amplifier 9, and makes the receiving sensitivity satisfactory. In case when the receiving input level has exceeded a prescribed level, an output of the comparator 8 is operated so as to extend a high-frequency characteristic of the variable low-pass filter 7, and makes the receiving articulation satisfactory.
