Abstract
PURPOSE:To elevate an S/N ratio in an output of a demodulator,by narrowing the passing band width in a band pass filter, and effectively lowering a thermal agitation noise, in case when an input level of a signal has been lowered. CONSTITUTION:A signal which has been inputted to an input part 1 is frequency- converted by a frequency conversion part 2, and also is amplified by an intermediate frequency amplifying part 3. An output of the intermediate frequency amplifying part 3 is limited as to its band by a band width variable type band pass filter 40, an unnecessary noise is suppressed, and after that, it is demodulated by a demodulator 5, and its original signal is outputted. The filter 40 is capable of controlling its passing band width, is controlled by an output of an input level detector 6, and is operated so as to narrow the passing band width whenever a signal input level is lowered.
