Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the OFF time of a main transistor and decrease power consumption by a mechanism wherein a series circuit of the third winding mounted to an output transformer and a diode is connected in parallel with a series circuit of the controlling winding of a current transformer and a switching element. CONSTITUTION:The third winding 18 of an output transistor 15 induces + voltage to the - side of a power source 1 during a conductive period of a main transistor Tr14, but currents do not flow bacause of the OFF of a Tr4. The currents of the winding 18-a diode 13-a resistor R are overlapped to the controlling winding 10 of a current transformer 7 in addition to currents passing through a resistor 3 under a condition that the Tr4 is at ON and inverse bias is applied to the Tr14, and currents are fed to a base of the Tr14 through the transformer 7, thus shortening the OFF time of the Tr14. Consequently, the OFF time of the Tr14 can be shortened positively in case of the inverse bias of the Tr14 without regard to the conductive width of the Tr14 because currents supplied from the winding 18 are fed during the storage time and turning-ON time of the Tr14.
