Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure a roll effect to a TV picture without using any roll paper, by composing electrically the picture formed with the character rows distributed with a line feed into several lines on a sheet of paper with no operation given to the signal source and thus producing the roll effect. CONSTITUTION:The video signal supplied from the input terminal 1 is converted into the digital signal through the coder 2 and then written successively into the memory 3 by the address of the writing address signal generator 7. At the same time, the reading address of the same scan as the writing address from the generator 7 is read and then applied to the memory 3 through the address signal generator 8. And the output signal read out is decoded through the decoder 4 and then delivered to the output terminal 6. The microcomputer 10 and the external control interface part 11 are connected to the generator 8 to carry out a control.
