Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely improve the performance of an compressor by separatng discharge side from intake side of a valve cover and pressing the intake cover into a valve plate to prevent an intake chamber from temperature rise.
CONSTITUTION: This compressor is constituted from an intake chamber 22 itself separated from the discharge side and an intake valve cover 21 press fitted into a valve plate 13. Said constitution prevents intake gas from being heated by discharge gas while increasing heat transfer speed of the intake valve cover 21 and valve plate 13 so that the heat of the intake valve cover 21 is dispersed to the valve plate 13 with large heat capacity. Thus, gas in the intake chamber 22 is doubly prevented from being heated to improve surely performance of the compressor. Also, the cover 21 is formed such that the diameter of an outlet of the intake chamber 22 converges gradually from the proximity of the outlet toward a intake port 16, while gas is sucked directly from a intake tube 23 into the intake chamber 22, so that fluid resistance of flow path can be reduced.
