Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the voltage even in the circuit where a negative load current is flowed, by providing an NPN emitter follower transistor for the positive load current and by providing a PNP transistor to absorb the negative load current.
CONSTITUTION: PNP emitter follower transistor TR13 is connected to the emitter of NPN emitter follower TR4 of the second stage. Diodes 14 and 15 and resistance 5 are connected in series to the emitter of NPN emitter follower TR3 of the first stage, and further, the connection point between resistance 5 and diode 15 is connected to the base of TR13. Diodes and transistors having equal polarity and characteristic respectively are selected as diodes 14 and 15 and transistors TRs 4 and 13. By this circuit constitution, the negative load current is absorbed, and the function of voltage stabilization is not damaged for positive as well as negative load currents, so that the voltage can be stabilized surely.
