Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate the errors highly accurate by a method wherein an offset voltage equal to the voltage generated by the secondary leak impedance of two windings of main core is generated at both ends of a compensating impedance in the error compensation type current transformer compensating errors by using an active element. CONSTITUTION:One end of the secondary winding 24 at the main core 21 side is connected at the inversion input side of an operational amplifier 26 through a compensating impedance ZC compensating the secondary leak impedance of the winding 24. The other end of the secondary winding 24 is connected at the noninversion input side of the amplifier 26 while being grounded. Both ends of the secondary winding 25 at the auxiliary core 22 side are connected in parallel with the compensating impedance ZC. Fixed currents are flowed through the impedance ZC, and the offset voltage equal to the voltage generated by the secondary leak impedance of the secondary winding 24 at the main core 21 side is generated at the both ends. Thus, errors due to the leak impedance portion of the winding can be compensated highly accurate.
