Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove uncomfortability in a passenger compartment by operating periodically an air cleaner provided within a heat exchanger bypassing passage so as to restrict the air blowing off from an upper blow-off part to be only intermittent. CONSTITUTION:When an air cleaner operating switch 22 is turned on, a signal is outputted from a cycle timer 23 at a certain interval to a control circuit 21, which in turn outputs periodically a signal actuating the air cleaner 18 and an actuator 20. As a result, the air cleaner 18 and the actuator 20 operate intermittently in such a manner that when the air cleaner 18 is inoperative, the actuator 20 actuates a door 19 to close the bypass passage 17. Thus the operation timing of the air cleaner 18 is determined appropriately not to blow off the air constantly from the upper blow- off part 14.
