Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish effective homogenization of the air current distribution by operating the upper fan motor alone during the cooling and the lower fan motor alone during the heating while each motor is made variable in the operation continuously or intermittently. CONSTITUTION:In the cooling operation, a cooling/heating change-over switch 13 is connected to the cooling contact. Thereupon, with the driving of the compressor 11, a time signal generation circuit 23 transmits the changeover signal of the rotation speed to the upper fan motor 17 alone. Then, the upper fan motor 17 repeats the high speed and low speed operations with the alternate switching of the speed terminals H and L in response to the changeover action of a variable relay 19 actuated by the generation circuit 23. The draft time of the fan motor may be controlled by adding a function of turning on or off the relay alone to the circuit 23 as required. Accordingly, the room temperature distribution can be homogenized.
