Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the distribution of the indoor temperature by a method wherein the blow-out direction of an indoor unit is set downward at the time of regular operations (for cooling, heating and blowing) and the direction is shifted upward automatically at the time of defrostation.
CONSTITUTION: When a blowing or cooling mode is selected by an operational switch 27 and a cooling-heating change-over switch 28, an electromotor 12 for driving a movable damper 8 is not operated and the movable damper 8 of a blow- out port 7 in the indoor unit of the cooling-heating device is kept in the state of the downward blow-out. On the other hand, when the frostation of an outdoor unit is detected by a defrostation controlling means 26 composed of the combination of a frostation detecting switch 33 and a timer motor 34 and the cycle is changed over to that of defrostation at the time of heating operation, the motor 12 is electrified simultaneously through the intermediary of the contact point 13a of a position-controlling limit switch 13. Then the movable damper 8 is rotated up to the state of upward blow-out by the rotation of a rotary cam 11 through the intermediary of links 9 and 10.
