Abstract
PURPOSE: To lengthen the retention distance of air bubbles in waste water, by providing the rotating shaft of a guide plate at an eccentric position with respect to the cross section of a frame in a guide facility for waste water flow.
CONSTITUTION: A guide plate 4 is composed of a square pipe 5 arranged at the longitudinal center, and two frames 6 having Z-shaped section which are in contact with the square pipe 5 on both sides. Two bearing pins 7 are set up at the bearing part for the guide plate 4 and are held by a crank block 8. The rotating shaft is placed on the outlet side of the guide plate 4 and bearing pins 7 which forms the rotating shaft are arranged at the upper part and the rear part of the frame center. Water stream 3 formed by the surface aerating apparatus flows over the guide plate 4 near the surface, and at the lower part, flows along the front side of the guide plates 4 into the deep region of the aeration tank, hereby flow rate is increased and the air bubbles advance a long passages under the surface, hence oxygen is dissolved in the liquid. The guide plate 4 is rotated depending upon the water level so as to change the angle to the water stream.
