Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce air of equal dew point including fine water drip by a method wherein air is fed into a closed chamber having a number of fine permeable tubes supplied with water which are vertically installed.
CONSTITUTION: Air of which temperature is raised up to a water temperature by operating the blower 6 and the pump 17 and contacting it with the zig-zag part 19 of the return pipe 18 through a heat exchanger 15 is fed into the closed chamber 1 at the air feeding hole 2. The air is passed within the closed chamber having water vapour evaporated from the surfaces of some fine permeable pipes 4 communicated with the bottom surface of the water tank 5, resulting in that the air temperature is made to be the same as the water temperature, and further to be a saturated air and discharged out of the discharge hole 3, heated by the heater 7 and then fed out. A temperature of the water dropped in the fine tubes 4 and accumulated in the discharge tank 10 from the discharge hole 9 is sensed by the temperature sensor 13, fed to the control device 14. Cooler 11 or heater 12 is operated in response to the output from the control device, and the water temperature is kept at a desired value.
