Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide high heat-exchange ratio and prevent plugging at a combustion exhaust gas outlet by a method wherein the exhaust gas containing moisture is subjected to heat exchange in a heat exchanger, then heated for reducing its relative humidity, and discharged. CONSTITUTION:A combustor comprises a hot-air blower 3, feed/discharge pipe 4, combustion air blower 5, burner 6, heat exchanger 7, etc. The liquid produced when combustion exhaust gas is cooled is discharged from the interior of a combustion exhaust gas conduit 8 to the exterior; for this purpose, a liquefied moisture discharge portion 9 is provided additionally. The portion 9 consists mainly of a receiver pan 9a and a capillary tube portion 8a arranged between the interior and the exterior of the conduit 8, and the discharged water is re-vaporized before fed for humidifying the interior of a room. An electric heater 10 is fitted in an exhaust line for heating the exhaust gas having undergone heat exchange in the heat exchanger 7, thereby to prevent plugging of an exhaust pipe outlet due to condensation of moisture contained in the exhaust gas.
