Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily control the loading operation by means of a stacker by a method wherein the load of a hopper of an unloader is measured at a certain time of interval and the difference of these measured values is calculated as a delivering flow rate from the hopper.
CONSTITUTION: The hopper 1 of a crab type bulk cargo unloader is provided with a sensor 2 for detecting weight and a load weight detector 3. The signal of the load weight is sent to a load variation rate arithmetic circuit 4 and is converted to the flow rate of the bulk cargo delivered to a conveyer 9 through a delivering device 7 and further, it is sent to a flow rate indicator 5 and a motor controller 6, thus, it is controlled so that the flow rate from the hopper 1 to a conveyer 10 may be the specified value. In comparison with the conventional system in which a load measuring device is directly fitted to the belt conveyer 9, the system structured in such a way has a conveyer of simple structure and accurate measurement values.
