Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve manipulation by recording a control signal by varying its duty according a recording state information signal and addressing signal and by changing modes in reproduction by reproducing the control signal. CONSTITUTION:A reference control signal, inputted to terminal 1, is passed through differentiating circuit 2 to obtain a differential signal. Further, signals are inputted from recording state information signal input terminal 4 and addressing signal input terminal 21 respectively. Those signals are passed through delay- amount control circuit 5, variable delay one shot circuit 3, etc., to obtain a signal which is based upon the rise part of the reference control signal to express the addressing signal by variation in mean duty and the recording state information signal by variation in duty of several cycles. Those signals are recorded on tape 8 via contact (a) of recording-reproduction change-over switch 6. The recorded signal is applied to sound multiplex modulator 16 via contact (b) of switch 6, etc., to determine the multiplex mode of the reproduced sound signal. Thus, the manipulation can be improved.
