Abstract
PURPOSE:To delay the signal simply by a comparatively long time, by giving a constitution where the input signal is recorded successively by three or more recording and reproducing devices and another device reproduces the signal after a previously set delay time while one device records the signal. CONSTITUTION:By the control of control device 15, VTR A11 becomes recording mode R, and the input signal from input terminal 10 is recorded. After this recording is performed from starting point 0 during the 2/3 time of delay time T to be obtained, VTR B12 becomes recording mode to record the input signal. Meanwhile, VTR A11 becomes rewind mode RW and is rewound and performs head positioning and becomes reproducing mode P to reproduce the signal after time T from starting point 0. At this time, since switch 14 is connected to VTR A11, the signal delayed by time T is output from output terminal 16. This operation is repeated in order of VTRs B and C similarly, and signals delayed by time T are joined correctly and are output. Thus, the signal is delayed simply by a comparatively long time.
