Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the frequency characteristics of permeability and magnetic flux saturating density by using a closed circuit magnetic core comprising an amorphous magnetic body. CONSTITUTION:A thin belt of an amorphous magnetic body is wound and layered to form a magnetic core 11 in a toroidal shape, and a winding 12 is wound around said magnetic core 11. Since the thickness of said thin belt is about 10-60mum, the high frequency characteristics are excellent, and the frequency characteristics of permeability is equivalent to or better than those of ferrite. The magnetic flux density of the amorphous magnetic body is 6KG or more and larger than that of ferrite. If 40% (atomic %) or more of iron is included, it is economical. In order to further enhance the characteristics of the amorphous magnetic body, it is desirable to include 60% or more of ions and to obtain 10KG or more magnetic flux saturating density.
