Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an easy attachment of a float-type level meter even into the sealed liquid bath, by storing the arc-shaped resistor plus the electrode sliding on the arc face of the resistor into the float which has an arc motion according to the ascent and descent of the liquid level and being hanged down in a carry-about unable way.
CONSTITUTION: The support arm 10 is attached to the side wall of the sealed type liquid bath 9 in an up-down rotatable way, and the insulating float 11 is fixed at the tip of the arm 10. The arc-shaped resistance 12 is adhered on the inner wall 11a of the float 11, and the constant voltage is applied via the leads 13a and 13b. The sliding electrode 14 is supported by the elastic support lever 15 and press- contacted to the resistor 12 via the spring 15a. The lead wire 17 connected to the lead wires 13a and 13b plus the spring 15 is connected to the outside measuring device through the inside of the arm 10. In response to the up-down movement of the liquid level, the float 11 has a motion drawing an arc, and the sliding electrode 14 slides along the resistor 12. Thus the liquid level is measured. This measuring device can be attached easily even into a sealed bath.
