Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively and simply prepare the heating element having desired shape, by covering by melt-spraying metal oxides having a specific composition, on the surface of substrate constituting the heater. CONSTITUTION:Substrate surface constituting the heating element at least, is covered by melt-spraying method so as to be constituted by the component shown by the formula I. Metal oxides shown by the formula 1, are the compounds shown by the formula II and are composed of about >=50wt%. The metal oxides can be used or raw material can be selected so as to obtain the desired composition lastly. For example, acetylene-oxygen flame melt-spraying, argon plasma melt-spraying etc. are used for the melt-spraying method. Thickness of coated layer is about 1mu-1mm.. For example, metal materials, such as iron, stainless or ceramic materials, such as alumina, silica, are suitable used for the substrate.
