Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the constant frequency AC output by regenerating the energy of the secondary side of a wound-rotor type induction generator to the primary side via a converter, a smoothing reactor, and a separately excited inverter. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary generator 10 which supplies the power having a reference frequency and a constant voltage is connected to the primary side of the wound-rotor type induction generator IG which is connected to a variable-speed main shaft 5. The secondary side is connected to the primary side of the generator IG via a converter 2, a smoothing reactor 3, and a separately excited inverter 4. A control circuit 20 controls the phase angle of the separately excited inverter 4 depending on the difference between the reference frequency fr and the output frequency f of the primary side of the generator IG. In this constitution, the capacity of the converter can be alleviated, and the control circuit can be simplified.
