CONSTITUTION:Operations of register groups Ra and Rb are controlled by the driving clock signal from clock signal generator PG1 so that one register group may perform the read operation of the information signal while the other performs the write operation of the information signal. Information signals of 6-line components supplied through switch circuit SW1 are registered in respective registers in 5THN by performing the read operation of the information signal on a basis of 5THN/6 (THN is one horizontal scanning time). By performing the read operation of the information signal on a basis of THN, the signal read out line by line at every THN is subjected to the interpolation processing by the gain control of gain control amplifiers Aa1-As6 and Ab1-Ab6 to perform line number conversion.
