Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to keep a high deodorizing efficiency, by controlling treatment of converting malodorous gas into mist by joining preheated malodorous gas with condensable and sticky malodrous gas into a confluent flow, and thereby raising the temperature and lowering the relative humidity of the mixed gas.
CONSTITUTION: Nonsticky malodorous gas having a low temperature and a low humidity joined in ducts 5, 11 is carried to a low-temperature heat exchanger, in which it is heated to about 100°C. A portion of this gas is sent to a burner 17 and used at a high temperature as combusting air for the burner. Further, other portion of the gas is passed through a duct 18 and joins at the inlet of a filter 13 with condensable and sticky malodorous gas of a temperatue lower than the dew point of a duct 3. The confluent gas is passed through a treating filter 13 with its relative humidity being raised above the dew point. Since, with such an arrangement, the amount of mist sticked to filter 13 can be reduced and a deodorizing fan F4 can be protected against sticking of mist, it is enabled to keep the high deodorizing efficiency.
