Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an optimal air-fuel ratio, by forming air-controlled fluid passages having respectively a control valve in the manner that they face a main nozzle and a slow nozzle of the carburetor, and thereby promoting mixing of fuel and air.
CONSTITUTION: The first air-controlled fluid passage 60 communicated at one end to an air cleaner A is opened at the other end to face a main nozzle 30 which is opened in venturi 20 of the carburetor. Further, the second air-controlled fluid passage 70 is formed to face a slow nozzle 50 which is opened near a throttle valve 40. These two fluid passages 60, 70 are respectively provided with solenoid valves 60C, 70C which are controlled by a controller 83 to which output signals of an O2-sensor 82 are given. By these solenoid valves 60C, 70C the amount of air is fedback controlled in response to the air-fuel ratio in the exhaust gas.
