Abstract
The air supply to an internal combustion engine which runs on propane gas is controlled by the valve (203) which is provided with a rotating sleeve (221) actuated by the lever (232). The sleeve is provided with slots which can be aligned with similar slots (216) in the body (204). The propane gas flows through the electro-magnetic valve (201) and then through the fuel flow control valve (202). Th fuel flow control valve (202) is actuated by a lever (246) which is linked to the lever (232) of the air valve (203). The lever (232) is also connected to the engine accelerator pedal so that the air supply and the propane gas supply are simultaneously increased when the accelerator pedal is depressed. At the same time the correct fuel to air ratio is maintained.
