Abstract
PURPOSE: To economically manufacture Ca at a high reduction rate by making the grain size of CaO larger than that of a conventional method and briquetting the CaO together with Al of a specified grain size when the CaO is reduced to Ca with the Al by a vacuum hot reduction distilling method.
CONSTITUTION: CaO and Al are mixed and briquetted, and the CaO is reduced to Ca with the Al by a vacuum hot reduction distilling method.
