Abstract

PURPOSE: To economically manufacture cold briquetted ore of high strength by pulverizing pseudoparticles with a pulverizer after mixing briquette raw material and a cement binder, and aging after briquetting with adjustment to a predetermined water content.
CONSTITUTION: Briquette raw material such as fine grain iron ore or iron manufacturing dust and a cement binder are mixed with a mixer such as a drum mixer. The mixture is pulverized with a pulverizer such as a ball mill, and water is mixed into the pulverized mixture with a mixer such as the above-mentioned drum mixer to obtain briquette raw material having a predetermined water content. This material is briquetted with a briquetting machine, and the resulting briquetted ore is cured and dried to thoroughly remove the contained water.
