Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide uniform fuel distribution and higher combustibility by equipping a fuel injection valve for each intake manifold of a multicylinder internal combustion engine and detecting a suction stroke timing of each cylinder so as to perform an injection on the basis of a suction. CONSTITUTION:Two couples of cylinders C1, C3 and C2, C4 of an internal combustion engine 1 are communicated with suction manifolds 2, 3 respectively. One fuel injection valve 6, 7 each is provided at each gathering part 4, 5. Fuel injection timing signal detectors A1-A4 for detecting suction stroke timings are disposed in the vicinity to the cylinders C1-C4, respectively. Those signals are input to a controller 10 and injection valve driving circuits 8, 9 to determine an injection timing of each injection valve 6, 7.
