Abstract

PURPOSE: To promote atomization of fuel in a system for improving combustion efficiency of an internal combustion engine by water injection, by injecting water after preheating a water pipe in a radiator, and agitating the water containing fuel by exhaust gas.
CONSTITUTION: In a radiator 7 for cooling the cooling water of engine, there is provided a water pipe 8a for preheating water. The water thus preheated is injected into a carburetor 2c via a conduit 8b. An intake pipe 2 and an exhaust pipe 1 are disposed adjacently with each other on the opposite sides of a partition wall 11. A shaft 12 is extended through the partition wall 11 and impellers 9, 10 are fixed to the opposite end portions of shaft 12. With such an arrangement, impeller 9 and hence impeller 10 are rotated by the flow of exhaust gas in exhaust pipe 1, so that water containing fuel in intake pipe 2 can be agitated.
