CONSTITUTION: In a device that communicates an exhaust manifold 4 of a multicylinder diesel engine 1 with an exhaust pipe 5, an exhaust manifold 4a of a cylinder, which decreases the quantity of fuel injected more than other cylinders, is communicated with an intake pipe 2 through a baffle plate 7. Thus, one portion of exhaust gas, which noxious components are less, is flowed back to the intake pipe 2 through the baffle plate 7, and the formation of Nox in a combustion chamber is diminished by the exhaust gas.
