Abstract

PURPOSE: To obviate the risk of clogging of a heating pipe due to freezing of the sea water, by making a heat transfer pipe as a double construction, and letting an evaporated LNG flow between a sea water flow and an LNG flow.
CONSTITUTION: An LNG introducing inlet 1 is positioned near a pipe plate 9, and an outlet 3 for the evaporated LNG is positioned near a pipe plate 7. An outlet 2 for a gas which has be subjected to heat exchange in the double pipe annular portion is provided to a space 18 formed by pipe plates 9, 8, and it will be mixed at gas supplying lines 15, 16. A sea water inlet 5 and a sea water outlet 6 are provided to pipe chambers 10, 11, respectively. As the LNG that has been subjected to heat exchange at an outer pipe surface and evaporated flows through the double pipe annular portion, the preventing effect of damage due to freezing can be obtained.
