Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure safety operation of a superconductive magnet device and to contrive the reduction in size of the device and in refrigerating load thereof by forcibly cooling the inside coil with cryogenic refrigerant, dipping to cool the outside coil with cryogenic refrigerant and simultaneously cooling forcibly and in dipping manner. CONSTITUTION:An inside coil 1 wound with a superconductor and an outside coil 2 connected in series with the inside coil 1 are contained in a container 3, and a partition plate 3a is provided between the inside and the outside coils 1 and 2. The inside coil 1 becoming high magnetic filed in a magnet device is forcibly cooled with cryogenic refrigerant to remove necessary heat for stabilization thereof, and the outside coil 2 becoming low magnetic field is dipped and cooled with cryogenic refrigerant 4. Since forcible and dipping cooling steps are simultaneously employed in said manner, the weight of the device is reduced, and the size and the refrigerating load of the device can be decreased.
