Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrically insulated coil having excellent heat-resistant and insulating characteristics, by incorporating an aluminum compound and a silane compound having hydroxyl groups or the like with an insulating bese material and impregnating the material with a composition consisting of a epoxy resin and an acid anhydride. CONSTITUTION:An insulating base material such as a glass woven fabric or mica- mixed paper is dipped in a mixed solution of a silane compound containing hydroxyl groups represented by the general formula II of a polysiloxane compound represented by the general formula III as a hardening accelerator, and an aluminum compound represented by the general formula I, aluminum trialkylacetoacetate or the like, is dried, and is wound in a coil, and the coil is impregnated with a resin composition consisting of an epoxy resin and an acid anhydride, and is then hardened. In this manner, there can be obtained an insulated coil which can be rapidly cured at higher than predetermined temperature and has excellent heat resistance and insulating characteristics after curing.
