Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately open or close an exhaust valve by probiding a driving mechanism, which operates on a discharge pressure from a fuel pump. in a fuel circulation circuit containing the fuel pump which is driven with respect to the action of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: A crankshaft 3 of a 2-cycle engine A, a driven gear 8, a small diameter gear 29 coaxially mounted on the gear, an idle gear 30, and a driven gear 10 centered on a revolutional shaft 9 of a pump P are meshed in series to drive the pump P. A fuel inside a fuel tank is suck up through a hose 18 and the fuel is fed back therein through a hose 20 on account of the motion of the pump P. One end of another hose 31 is connected to a discharge side passage of the pump P and the other end is communicated with a pressure applied room 23 within a driving mechanism "c" for running an exhaust valve 2. The driving mechaism "c" actuates an exhaust valve 2 with the aids of a diaphragm 21, a rod 22 and a lever 27 according to an increase or a decrease in a pump discharge pressure carried into the pressure applied room 23.
