Abstract

PURPOSE: To settle a trouble occurring at the time of an abnormal flow of a fluid, by using the valve of such a design that the fluid is allowed to flow only when the difference between entry side pressure and exit side pressure of the fluid becomes within the set range and that opening and closing of the valve is self-controlled by the pressure of the fluid itself.
CONSTITUTION: A lift type check valve 9 is pushed up by a gas coming in from the bottom, and a valve rod 13 connected to top and a sliding valve 22 are also pushed up at the same time. In the position where the lateral lattices 16 and 17 of the sliding valve 14 and their piercing holes 19 and 20 are set together with a piercing hole 23 of the valve body 22, that is, when the check valve 9 is in the condition of floating at an intermediate height, a fluid smoothly flows from an inlet 5 to an outlet 8. When the entry-exit pressure difference of the fluid becomes excessively large, the check valve 9 and the valve body 22 are furthr blown up causing a shift of the positions of the piercing holes 19 and 20 from the positions of the piercing hole 23 so that the flow is stopped, and conversely, if the pressure difference becomes excessively small, both the check valve 9 and the sliding valve 14 are also shut off. Only when the pressure difference becomes within a set range in which weights of the two valves and the force of blowing up the check valve are in equilibrium equilibtated, the fluid is allowed to flow automatically.
