Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize a pressure loss of a valve when fully opened by opening or closing a valve body through control of a fluid pressure in a pressure storage chamber as the valve body with a sector-shaped cross-section is arranged to turn between a valve chamber and a pressure storage chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Opening a self-return sensor head or a manual start valve reduces the pressure of fluid in the pressure storage chamber 4. This is because less fluid flows into the pressure storage chamber 4 through a hole 12 than that released into the air through the sensor head and the manual start valve. Therefore, a valve body 11 with a sector-shaped cross-section is caused to turn with a rotary moment produced counter-clockwise due to a pressure fluid in a valve chamber 3 leading the valve to open, so that the fluid on the primary side flows out to the secondary side. This eliminates bent passage preventing any large pressure loss of a valve when opened fully.
