Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a monolithical molding of a metal nipple inserted into an outlet portion of a molded product, by a method wherein, after thermoplastic resin powder is charged into a mold in which the metal nipple is screwed into a female screw part thereof, said mold is heated at the outside thereof. CONSTITUTION:The metal nipple 8 to be inserted is screwed into the screw part A of the mold 7. It is recommendable that a few threads of the nipple 8 remain not to be screwed into the female screw part of the mold, and thereby the end of the nipple 8 is prevented from being exposed to the outside. A projecting portion, which is filled with an insulation material 9, is formed at the end of the mold 7, and thereby it is preferable because this permits a further complete molding of the inside of the outlet of a pipe. After the nipple 8 is mounted, thermoplastic resin powder is charged in an ordinary way, and the mold 7 is turned as it is heated. This causes the formation of a molten layer or semimolten layer 10, and the mold 7 is cooled to obtain a molded product whereinto the nipple 8 is inserted.
