Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit an internal combustion engine ignition device having a simple constitution to improve in economy and reliability by stepwisely adding a necessary energizing angle to the conventional energizing angle at above a given number of revolutions. CONSTITUTION:The angle signal from an angle sensor 1 is inputted to an arithmetic circuit 9. A flip-flop 21 changes the signal from the angle sensor 1 to a set input, and the signal from an angle sensor 20 to a reset input. When passing throgh a nor gate 22, the Q output is controlled by the output of a revolution number-detecting circuit 24. The output of the nor gate 22 is combined with the output of an and gate 14 in an or gate 23 to be used as a driving signal for a switching element 15. After the inversion point of the output of the revolution number-detecting circuit 24, the device has a larger angle of energizing an ignition coil than conventional devices. Thus, the secondary output voltage of the ignition coil can be increased in the high speed range.
