PURPOSE:To improve an ignition timing property in a range from the low speed of rotation to its high speed, by using an angle signal of small angle width to determine ignition time in a medium and a high rotation speed regions and using an angle signal delayed by a prescribed angle and having a large angle width to determine ignition time in a low rotation speed region. CONSTITUTION:In a medium and a high rotation speed regions, the first angle signal (a) synchronized with the rotation of an engine and corresponding to the prescribed crankshaft position of the engine is applied from an angle sposition detector 8 to an ignition time calculation circuit 15 to calculate ignition time by the circuit 5.
